Tuface Idibia, Nigeria’s legendary Afrobeats and superstar has announced his divorce plans with his wife Annie Idibia. In a shocking revelation made by the singer on social media, the couple has been separated for a while and have now decided to get a divorce.
On Sunday, 26th of January 2025, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Face Idibia took to the streets of Instagram, releasing a video where he announced his plans. In his words, he said; “Hello to my beautiful people of all federation. Well this thing I have to say is short but also long. Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while and I have filed for a divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story”
Moments after the post was made, concerned fans and the general public suspected that his account had been hacked hence the release of information. However, another made was made shortly after presumably by Tuface, debunking the claim that his account was hacked.
In the new post, he said, “Hey, my people, nobody hacked my account; I said what I said, I come in peace”
This news and update is a sad ending to the marriage between Tuface and Annie who have been together for several years and married since 2012. The marriage produced children excluding the children on Tuface from other women besides Annie.
